For good scans and descriptions : http://www.be-hold.com
There is still time to leave bids with us (by E-mail, phone, or by downloading the bid sheet and faxing it) and even to ask questions about the material (but please, before 11:00 a.m. Eastern.) We can also arrange to have you bid on the phone on lots that are important to you.
You can also bid on eBay Live, but you must first register-- this is a very simple process, especially for those who are already registered with eBay. You can follow the bidding on eBay Live even if you are not registered, but if you register you can still bid on a lot when it comes up if it seems to be going below what you expected.
This is the most exciting body of material we have ever offered and I'm getting a good "buzz" about it. The material ranges from major (and also minor but interesting) 19th-century photographs, to works by major 20th century photographers. Very little is "routine" material that one sees offered all the time. The material has been chosen for interest, authenticity, print quality.
If you find the presentation attractive, consider subscribing to the printed catalog. If you subscribe to the next 3 issues, we will send you a complementary copy of the catalogs for Parts 1 and 2 of this auction. A subscription form is on the web site.
Most of our material is consigned, and the high quality of the offered material testifies to the trust the consignors have placed in us to offer their property. If you have unusual material that might generate interest, please contact us. We already have some things in the works for the next sale.
