Epicscotland, the best respected photo agency north of the border is seeking a new member of the team to develop the picture library and manage the commissions.
Based in our offices in Glasgow the position is full time and the salary is dependent on experience.
You will have a proven track record in the picture library industry and have a broad knowledge and understanding of copyright coupled with the ambition and vision to develop existing client relationships and bring in new business.
Responsibilities:
Overall manager of the archive, overseeing metadata and keywording on
Digital Rail Road database.
Taking commissions, dealing with picture requests and providing quotes.
Identify potential picture sales
Managing the diary and a small team of photographers on commissions.
Managing some aspects of the commercial relationship – invoices,
remittances.
Essential skills / experience:
Thorough understanding of copyright and proven track record in licencing
images.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop existing client
relationships, bring in new business and manage the team of commissioned
photographers.
Strong organizational skills with a close attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize.
Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Excel & Word (Filemaker preferred)
