Exhibition - Portraits Of Adventure

'Portraits of Adventure' opens today, 22nd July 2008, at The Royal Geographical Society in London.

The exhibition will showcase over 60 rarely seen images that capture the true spirit of adventure through the lens of leading photographers including 10 specially commissioned 4 metre high portraits by Alastair Thain featuring personalities that embody this spirit, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Zara Phillips.

Portraits of Adventure opens on July 22nd 2008 at The Royal Geographical Society. It is one of the many events around the globe in celebration of Land Rover' s 60th anniversary supporting the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies.

As part of the exhibition sponsored by Land Rover there is also a competition whereby people can enter their photos of extreme adventures to win £2000 in travel vouchers and a Canon EOS 450D with two outstanding lenses.
