UK history footage archive Pathé are online with a new website which can now be watched on iPhones, iPads and other smart devices through an improved video player. Other updates to the site include, ‘A newly enhanced search facility: All 90,000 reels are now dated and correctly tagged, and so an extra 20,000 reels are findable using the new timeline search tool and Editorial sections: including thematic stills galleries and archive features. TV channel Current UK has announced that ‘BSkyB has withdrawn support for the channel and it is likely to stop broadcasting by mid March 2012.’
