Junior Account Manager – London Office
Gallery Stock represents high-end, premium Rights-Managed imagery offering creative content by some of the most distinguished and celebrated photographers in the world.
We are seeking a dedicated and hard working Junior Account Executive to join our UK Editorial Sales Team, but also to support the entire image licensing team (magazine, books and commercial).
Previous experience working as a Sales Executive in a photo agency would certainly be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. Assuming previous experience, good contacts within the picture buying industry would be useful.
The primary Sales role will involve:
- Call and email existing and prospective clients
- Research and deliver client requests
- Analyse clients’ photo buying needs
- Proactively make offers to clients
- Obtain and communicate feedback
- Identify published images, track image downloads, reconcile self-billing statements
- Negotiate and process sales
- General admin support and cover within the sales team
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills with detailed knowledge of Excel, Word and Photoshop
- An excellent visual memory
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proactive and have the ability to multi-task under strict deadlines
- Candidate must be comfortable handling client relationships with authority and ingenuity
- Exceptional organizational skills and a willingness to show real initiative and a meticulous eye for detail
- Dedicated, dynamic yet structured with close attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Maximise revenues from your assigned clients by keeping them constantly updated with new and topical material, making image offers and generally offering a high level of client service
- Develop new business in conjunction with our business development manager
- Candidates will enjoy providing high levels of client service
- Able to take direction but also show initiative and work independently providing our customers with an expert and prompt research service
- Assist as required with customer support and marketing
Hours: Full time (8 hours per day to cover shifts), permanent
