This is a paid position and would be a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working on a Picture Desk, willing to learn and have a great eye for images. Previous experience on a picture desk is desirable but not a necessity.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager – CRM, the Email Marketing Associate Producer will be responsible for coding and producing email marketing communications leveraging advance skills in HTML, EML, Javascript, XML, and CSS. Working closely with the marketing and creative design teams you will also be responsible for loading the coded content into the email service provider’s engine (Silverpop) and deploying the emails based on the determined segmentation rules following QA.
In addition you will also be required to work out schedules and report on email performance. This includes ideas and recommendations on how to increase our overall email performance against our key metrics.
The ideal candidate will need to be detail-oriented with a great sense of current trends in the market. They will need to exhibit the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to meet multiple email campaign deadlines. The candidate should also have experience working with web designers and developers and understand general design and development processes.

Responsibilities:
• Produce coded email communications using HTML, EML, CSS, and Familiarity with DOCTYPE differences.
• Partner with design team to develop compelling brand and product-focused emails promoting marketing messages
• Ability to trouble-shoot and correct any coding errors to assure the team meets email deployment deadlines
• Build templates and execute email sends according to schedule.
• Monitor ongoing (“triggered”) campaigns to ensure proper execution of all scheduled events.
• Monitor and report on key metrics including open, click, unsubscribe, and bounce rates.
• Make recommendations for changes that will increase email effectiveness based on findings.
• Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing on emails prior to deployment

Qualifications:
• Candidates must be able to provide samples of their work and demonstrate discipline expertise
• Expertise in hand-coding HTML, specifically for email marketing (EML)
• 2+ years in-depth CSS experience including pure-CSS page layouts
• Proficiency in identifying and solving coding, image-rendering and HTML content compatibility issues relating to HTML and CSS
• Experience with and an understanding of differences in HTML DOCTYPE
• Experience with design, marketing strategies and segmentation
• Experience with Responsys ESP an advantage
• Background in email marketing reporting and analytics
• Experience with managing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns through email vendors
• Experience with multi-language campaigns
• SEM and SEO skills are an advantage
• Experience with Omniture Web Analytics platform an advantage

Nature Picture Library in Bristol is looking for a picture researcher for maternity cover.

Rachelle our picture researcher responsible for Book, Calendar and Greetings Card clients, is taking maternity leave and we are looking for someone to cover her role in our office in central Bristol for at least 10 months from mid-June onwards.

The right person will probably have a degree in biology/zoology or be a knowledgeable wildlife enthusiast and have a real interest in photography and experience of picture library work or other relevant experience. S/he will also be well organised, experienced in handling digital images and able to keep accurate records and be prepared to take a proactive role in promoting the library to established and potential clients.

Responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and delivering appropriate images in response to client requests.
- Being proactive with new material and targeting specific clients with images
- Identifying new clients and contacting them with relevant information
